A Flash like the moon and a scarlet red streak of lightning, symbolizes hope and a hero. The Scarlet Speedster is a one of a kind superhero, a speedster who races through Central City to save the day. In this article, I will touch on the subjects that the show has signified and how each and every episode is like a streak of inspiration in our daily lives. What we don’t realize is that, we often take the shows we watch for granted but we never question it to the point of how valuable TV shows impact our lives more than we can ever imagine. From this day forward, every show and movie might change your perspective of how entertainment is, it’s more than just stories on a screen.

It is said: “Spoken words can reach minds, but written words can reach hearts.” In this scenario, films and shows can touch a viewer’s mind and heart, by showing the true action of events, emotions, and plot intertwined with personal conflict. Movies are moving pictures, these moving pictures are like words to our eyes, but what makes it personal are the characters we can relate to. Now you know how entertainment can reach us, let’s take a closer look into the In- Between The Lines Of the Scene:

Among many episodes of the hit series, there are a lot of major events that have happened. Such as, in Armageddon, Despero has predicted in the future that The Flash will lose his mind. As The Flash slowly goes down that road has become extremely confusing, even though I was thrown in and out of the situation and didn’t know which side to believe in. Throughout the events of Armageddon, I learnt that there are times in our lives when we experience the most confusing parts that can be mind — bending. This resembles how we all perceive what happens in our lives. Sometimes it twists our own intellect only for us to be blind by the cause. That’s what Armageddon is about, but it also means that one who believes in a dark future ahead of them has no hope but a life that’s bleak. To bring Barry back on track was Damien Darhk, and he learns that in order to see a brighter and hopeful future isn’t to lead with a cloaked perspective but to lead with his love for his loved ones to guide him to save the world, countless times.

Armageddon has many messages, but other than that major event, we can’t ignore one of the most important event and that is Crisis On Infinite Earths. Crisis is another message about how we fight every day of our lives. What is it all of us fighting for? We fight against the most powerful times in our lives, it can be trauma, struggles, challenges, hopelessness against the great unknown, sometimes we have to fight our personal demons that tell us to do things we shouldn’t, that’s our Crisis of Infinite Earths. But the beauty of it all is, we’re not alone, every time you think you’re alone in whatever kind of situation you know you’re not. Too many of us are stuck in this mental cage where you feel confined, isolated, and lonely. No one has to do that, think about how The Flash was able to help so many characters and besides The Flash himself, he’s not the only one who can bring the light in the darkness, another superhero who’s known for that is Supergirl.

Time after time again, The Flash has stuck through many difficult situations, from people possessed by dark matter, a black hole disappearing and reappearing in Central City, defeating The Thinker, Reverse Flash taking over his own life and reversing the tables against him, fighting against Zoom, and currently Deathstorm is upping the ante on all of those. If The Flash can get through the most hopeless situations and get through them by being the hero he is, we can do that for ourselves too. Beyond the surface of each battle comes with a powerful meaning, that meaning is that our internal and external battles of our lives should take The Scarlet Speedster as an example. We are our own heroes, we’re the leaders of our tomorrow and a marvelous future is ahead of us all.
